DJI Avata 360: A New Standard for Immersive 360° FPV Flying

DJI presents Avatar 360 – the new flagship drone with 8K 360° shooting, designed to unlock endless creativity in just one shot. The model offers 360° imaging with 1-inch equivalent sensors that enable 8K/60fps HDR video capture. At the same time, the powerful O4+ video transmission system and obstacle detection provide a more stable, safe and immersive flight experience.

Combined with DJI Goggles and an intuitive controller, the latest addition to the Avata series delivers a fully immersive 360° FPV experience. Using DJI remote controllers, users can capture a full 360° shot in a single flight, which can then be reframed from any angle, transforming a single shot into a multitude of creative possibilities.

Impressive image and unlimited creativity

Avatar 360 It has two different lenses that can be switched between seamlessly.

The 360° lens uses 1-inch equivalent sensors, which capture an extremely detailed image for 8K/60fps HDR video and 120MP photos. Thanks to the large 2.4 μm pixels and high dynamic range, light and shadows are reproduced with exceptional precision.

Both video and photos can be exported directly or reframed in post-production. Single Lens mode allows for classic Avatar-style shooting at 4K/60fps.

Powerful video transmission and immersive flight

Avatar 360 uses the leading video transmission system O4+, which provides a stable and clear signal for a smoother and more immersive flight. Strong anti-interference ability allows for 1080p/60fps image transmission and a range of up to 10 km (SE) (20 km FCC).

Fly with confidence, create with ease

Avatar 360 offers up to 23 minutes flight time and includes a number of standard safety features, such as omnidirectional obstacle detection, including in night conditions, as well as built-in fin protection.

In case of damage, the lens can be easily replaced via a special kit (sold separately), without the need for service.

The drone offers exceptional capabilities for aerial content creation, as a single 360° frame can be turned into multiple professional videos via the apps. DJI Fly и DJI Studio.

Intelligent content creation features

Spotlight Free – locks onto a moving subject and assists camera movement, creating cinematic shots like a pro shooting with the Inspire 3. In comparison, Spotlight locks onto a subject's face to capture a Circle or Dronie shot without manual adjustments.

ActiveTrack 360° – automatically selects the optimal tracking mode. For example, Standard mode maintains a stable distance and height to the subject. Cycling mode, on the other hand, reacts faster to turns and keeps the subject in frame even in difficult situations.

FPV mode – adds natural roll for dynamic FPV footage (can also be applied in post-production).

Smart tracking – powered by improved algorithms, the applications DJI Fly и DJI Studio make it easy to track people, cars, animals and other objects, even in 360° shooting.

One-touch editing – with GyroFrame you can easily adjust the angle of the frame and add effects directly in the application.

Virtual Gimbal – allows infinite camera movements (rotation, tilt), even with a fixed flight direction.

Interchangeable front lens – you can replace the front lens yourself, without the need for service (a lens replacement kit is purchased separately).

Built-in memory and fast transfer – with 42 GB internal memory you can record up to 30 minutes of 8K 360° video without microSD card. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6, a 1 GB file is transferred in about 10 seconds at speeds of up to 100 MB/s.

FPV flying and aerial photography in one

Avatar 360 combines the freedom of a 360° camera with the thrill of FPV flying. Can be controlled with DJI remote controllers (RC 2, RC-N2, RC-N3) for precise control, as well as with goggles and an intuitive controller for a fully immersive 360° experience in 1080p/60fps. Similar to Avatar 2, the drone allows aerial acrobatics such as drifting – even for beginners – with DJI RC Motion 3.
